If you are looking for a specific person, do a subject search in the library catalog (entering their last name first). Individual biographies are usually shelved in the individual's area of interest or fame. For example, actors are in the film studies section (PN), while entrepreneurs are in the business section (HF).
If you don't have a specific person or occupation in mind, the best (and fastest) place to browse for light reading is the "Fun Read" section on the 2nd floor. The short shelves surrounding the 2nd-floor photocopiers hold these books.
Note: General collective biographies (like Who's Who) will be found in the CT section in Reference (1st floor) and the Stacks (3rd floor).
