Fastest way:

  1. Go to the library’s home page (library.lamar.edu).
  2. Type a few words for your topic in the box and click Search.

If you are off campus, a login page will appear. Enter your LEA login (same as Blackboard) to see your results.

Note: If you are required to use journals from a specific resource like MLA International Bibliography (for literary criticism) or PsycInfo (for psychology research), click the Databases tab for the A - Z Database List.

Either way, this video can help you choose and use the articles you find.

  1. If your results show too many non-articles (e-books, dissertations, etc.) use the Refine Results options (left of the list) to Limit To: Scholarly Journals. For magazine articles, scroll farther down to check the Magazines box under Source Types.See how at Library YouTube Demo
